Self Tapping Thread Inserts are used...
  • To improve the strength of assemblies by distributing forces from fastener over large area in base material thus improving load bearing capability
  • In materials where threads tapped directly get damaged due to torque
  • In components where, wear occurs due to frequent assembly and disassembly
The inserts are used in metal and plastic industries for mass production, batch production and thread Repair
Type 'A' Type 'B' Type 'C' Type 'D'

Type 'AH'
Threaded insert with bores is a self-tapping fastener for the creation of wear-free, vibration-resistant screw joints with high loading capacity in materials with low shearing strength

The head serves as a support for electrical contacts, for simultaneous fixture of several parts; when stress is applied against the head, the pull-through force is significantly increased

Thermoplastic Inserts
Type 'E' Type 'F' Type 'G' Type 'H'
(E) Provided superior pull - out and torque resistance in thermoplastic making them a popular choice for moulding. Installed in straight or slightly tapered holes

(F) "Push in" brass expansion inserts suitable for most thermoset or thermoplastic with blind or through moulded or drilled hole. Also available Flange head insert called "FF". Installation is easy and fast

(G) Provide strong, reusable, free running threads in thermoset and hard plastics. A self locating pilot ring and simple press in insertion, assure minimum installation time.

(H) Designed for strong wear resistant threads in thermoplastics materials. The opposing herringbone knurling provided for resistance to torque loads and facilitates the flow of plastics into two recessed.

Thermoset Inserts
Type 'I' Type 'J' Type 'K' Type 'L'
(I) Ideal for Polycarbonates and other material prone to stress cracking

(J) Ideal for Thermoplastic material and tapper holes

(K) Use for thin metal sheet thickness 0.5mm to 5mm., suitable for thin wall mould parts made of steel, light metals.

(L) Similar to "J" type Insert but with stud length. Available in brass.
